Workshop:
A two days actor's workshop was conducted by the famous American director Lee Breuer and his wife Maude Mitchell with a group of Indian actors at the conclusion of the Delhi Ibsen Festival 2010.
DADA invited a group of twenty actors who hailed from various theatre companies of the capital to have an opportunity to workshop with Breuer. The First day was devoted to a closer look at the Stanislavskian technique, while the second day was devoted to a Brechtian approach, especially with regards to creating comedy. Le Breur is a founding artistic director of Mabou Mines Theatre company, USA, which he began in 1970 with Philip Glass, Roth Maleczech, Joanne Akalaitis and others. His productions of Dollhouse was shown at the Delhi Ibsen Festival 2010 as a film. In 2004 it won the OBIE Award for Best Director and Best Performance.
